Samsung’s ATIV product line, which exclusively runs Microsoft operating systems, gained a new member last week when the South Korean manufacturer introduced an all-in-one desktop called ATIV One 5.
At the Samsung Premiere 2013 press conference, held last week in London, the tech giant presented, among other things, a Windows 8 tablet that can run Android applications, an Android DSLR camera, a laptop with unprecedented resolution (3200 x 1800) and an all-in-one desktop in the form of ATIV One 5.
As it comes from the ATIV PC family, it runs on Windows 8. under the thin edge of the metal bezel and the glossy white surface design, there will probably be the recent Technology, but Samsung refused to offer more details at the moment.
In Terms of Connectivity ATIV One 5:
- 2 x USB 2.0 ports
- 2 x USB 3.0 ports
- 1 x audio jack
- SD Card Slot
- Ethernet Port
- HDMI-out port
In addition to all this, ATIV One 5 also comes with a 21.5-inch Full HD touch screen. It won’t be long before touchscreens develop their own consciousness. After that, you will hear only: “take off your fat paws, dirty monkey!”
There has been a joke for several years about the cost of repairing a Mac against a PC. Since the Mac is an all-in-one desktop, when part of it broke, people had to pay huge amounts of money to get it repaired, not to mention the fact that they had to take the Mac to service. On the other hand, if a PC part breaks, which can be easily removed and replaced at a much lower price. I’m afraid this is the matter with Samsung’s all-in-one desktop, unless the South Korean manufacturer has found the secret for PC components that never break.
Samsung has not disclosed details about the price and availability of this product, but if we know how fast This company is moving, we certainly will not have to wait too long. Also, the launch of this product fits perfectly with the introduction of the new Intel processors, so I’m sure it would include one of the new Haswell Quad-Core processors and not The AMD APU. However, it remains to be seen. While the quality of materials may not be as high as expected, Samsung is rarely disappointed when it comes to the performance of its products.
